Google.
Research.
This wouldn't be the place to find out everything you need to know, you will need to do loads of research before jumping in with your hard earn.

I spent most of yesterday researching bitcoin and I am none the wiser. It seems there are all sorts of people who should know a thing or two about this sort of thing - half of them are saying this is only the beginning and it's going to continue to multiply in value and transform the way we do business; the other half are saying it's a bubble which is about to burst. Sensible people like Martin Lewis are saying it's a gamble and either of the two scenarios above could quite easily come to pass....

Haha, I feel sorry for all you losers who missed out on the Bitcoin train. You should've bought in years ago, like me: A perfectly normal man who coincidentally hoarded a virtual currency during a time when it's only use was for sex trafficking and purchasing organs.

Dinner lady theory. When people like that are talking about getting into it, you know it’s time to get out. I had a family friend who works in a tanning shop telling me I should get into it and dinner lady theory came to mind.

Its as has been said. No one really knows what's going to happen. Either its going to change the world and go to a million, or its gonna burst like a stuck balloon and drop back to about 2k, or both.
My gut feel is it might keep going. If you look past the agendas and comparisons, the thing it actually enables is too awesome to be stopped.
A world wide, generic, non regulated, anonymous encrypted mechanism to trade between two parties directly without encroachment from government, banks etc.
I think those with it stored in public wallets might get taxed or stung in some way, so best to keep it in a software wallet where you hold the keys. But you can already use it to buy all manner of things (in a round about way even from Amazon via purse.io).
Its not an investment with an edge...its something that is more powerful the more people that get involved, so dinneradies getting on board is a good thing.

There is a probability that Litecoin will follow a similar trajectory to Bitcoin.
Ethereium has rocketed this year as well.

Bitcoin Question?:
If you had say 5 bitcoins at £14,000 each (£70,000)? how easy it get that £70,000 into your bank account to spend straight away?
How liquid is it in that respect? Instant? As easy as that?

Re: Bitcoin

It’s fairly simple to convert them to dollars on the exchanges but I’m not sure how easy the withdrawal process is now there is so much traffic. Most people’s concern is of course avoiding corporation tax and this has led to some incredibly shady cash deals being done with people (particularly Russians) who you would rather not know existed.

Justin,
I suspect the Bank into which you were transferring your Bitcoin wealth, may have one or two questions for you before they let you in.
